The global COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with increased requests for antiracism initiatives across medicine, disproportionately intensified the demands placed on women of color. The events of the last year caused widespread physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion and women of color have silently absorbed much of the impact. On June 17 from 12-2 p.m. ET, the AAMC will host a webinar designed to identify equitable institutional practices and to advocate for healthy workplace models where women of color can thrive.
