As a new academic year approaches, the AAMC, the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine, the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates have come together to develop voluntary guidance, toolkits, and other resources to assist in the transition of 2021 medical school graduates into their first postgraduate year of education and training. Over the next several weeks, the organizations will identify and promote assessment and well-being tools, including practical guidance to ease the transition of students and support programs in their mission of education, training, and patient care.
