Thanks Stephanie Weiner for raising up National Healthcare Quality Week! The AAMC indeed did a screening the To Err is Human documentary at the
2019 Integrating Quality Conference and the attendees thoroughly enjoyed it. The film also generated a lot of discussion among medical educators looking for tools to demonstrate the impacts of medical errors and patient safety. It's a terrific educational tool that is just as relevant in 2020.

Subject: For Your Learning Friday: To Err is Human
In advance of National Healthcare Quality Week (Oct. 18-24), we raise the topic of the 2019 documentary To Err is Human. The film-which was screened at many of your institutions and is available via several streaming services-examines the outcomes of medical errors and the factors that contribute to them.
If you or your institution created discussion guides, course materials, or other learning resources around this film and/or the topic of medical errors and patient safety, please share them here by replying to this discussion.
