Academic Medicine has announced a call for applications for volunteer assistant editors. Assistant editors work as part of the journal's editorial team on matters related to manuscript review and decision making. More details about the assistant editor program are discussed in an editorial and an Invited Commentary in the journal's October 2021 issue. Applicants can submit a CV and a 1-2 page letter of interest to academicmedicine@aamc.org (Attn: Mary Beth DeVilbiss, Managing Editor) by February 7, 2022.
