Hi all!
I wanted to update you regarding our Virtual Negotiations Course. As you may know, we won a Giambalvo award to explore whether we could deliver the same interactive negotiations courses -- enabling participants to practice their negotiation skills with each other -- on a virtual platform as we do with our live in-person workshops. It turns out, we could! We took what we learned from that "beta test" and launched our course for female faculty/practicing physicians earlier this month. It was a huge success! We got back comments like "Probably one of the best courses I have taken towards my professional development", and "Anees is an excellent teacher, probably one of the best I have experienced in awhile. She is extremely knowledgeable and her experience is invaluable. I needed this course and her expertise years ago and will definitely use it for my upcoming negotiation." Suggestions were made to expand the course to trainees, and to URiMs of any gender – so we've now created courses especially for them – and have expanded our female faculty courses. You can check them out here: http://negotiation-101.square.site/, and please share with your faculty and trainees!
Best,
a
