I've been intrigued-and pleased-by the technology innovations that my dog's veterinary practice has implemented amid COVID-19 restrictions. I learned that the American Veterinary Medical Association recently released telehealth recommendations. As with human medicine, I hope some of these technology advances continue well into the future. While Maddie (pictured) was disappointed at having to visit the vet in person for her recent spay surgery, the follow-up care has been thorough, safe, and convenient.
