The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking partners to help eliminate systemic racism in the medical school setting.
With support from the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation, the three-year project intends to replicate Icahn Mount Sinai's change-management model to promote an anti-racist teaching institution.
The Anti-Racist Transformation in Medical Education (ART in Med Ed) learning platform will engage students, staff, and faculty in virtual experiential learning, assessments, outcome and performance-monitoring sessions, and coaching developed in phases to allow for movement beyond a simple knowledge transfer and toward change within each school that is systemic and adaptive.
Applications for the ART in MedEd are due on August 16, 2021.
