Miss the smell of the office printer? It’s now available in a scented candle. One company has launched a new line of scented candles inspired by the smells you—presumably—have missed over the past year. The candles replicate scents like breakfast leftovers, coffee break room, and “Warm 96 Page Deck Left on the Printer.” According to people who follow such trends, we as consumers are nostalgic for former lives, and brands are responding with items that transport us there.
What pre-pandemic office-inspired scented candle would you invent?
My candle scent vote is for "microwaved almonds," inspired by a colleague who regularly used to toast nuts as a snack in the office. I never thought I'd say that I missed that, but I do!
