    We invite you to be part of a growing national learning community on competency-based medical education (CBME), designed to accelerate adoption of the new Foundational Competencies for Undergraduate Medical Education, co-sponsored by the AAMC, AACOM, and ACGME. 

    As part of Learn Serve Lead 2025: The AAMC Annual Meeting, we're hosting an interactive in-person workshop on Saturday, November 1, 1–4 pm CT, in San Antonio, TX. This session will: 

    • Share the vision and goals of the learning community 

    • Highlight early efforts and lessons learned from peer institutions 

    • Provide space to discuss shared challenges and strategies for advancing CBME

    We also welcome proposals to showcase your school's work-whether a pilot effort, innovation, or lesson learned-in curriculum design, teaching, learning, assessment, advising, or systems-level change. Submit proposals by October 1 to CBME@aamc.org. Please include summary of the CBME activity - up to 300 words, 1-3 objectives, name, role, institution, and email address.  Please note: All presenters and participants must be registered for Learn Serve Lead 2025.
