Subject: Summer Reading List?
UPDATE: Compiled book list posted here.
We're interested in putting together a Summer Reading List for members of our AAMC virtual community. Any recommendations? Reply here with the name of the book you recommend and we'll distribute the full list soon. Both professional and read-for-fun suggestions welcome.
I'll get us started!
My professional recommendation (especially for those working in communications) is "Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die" by Chip & Dan Heath. It's a great read for those thinking about communications strategies and campaign planning.
For fun, I just finished "Furiously Happy" by Jenny Lawson. It's hilarious and heartbreaking all at once - a great collection of personal stories from an author who is exploring her lifelong battle with mental illness.
