As we come off the heels of MLK Day, I've been thinking a lot about the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., as I'm sure many of you have, too. Yesterday, the AAMC's president and CEO
Dr. David Skorton shared this sentiment on Twitter, "
Among so much wisdom in so many areas, [Dr. King's] thoughts on 'injustice in health' are up-to-the-minute relevant today. Time to make more and more rapid progress."
For our question of the week, I'd love for the community to reflect on this statement. Were you inspired by anything you heard yesterday or conversations you had with friends and family? How can we achieve this "rapid progress"?
