Much has been discussed and shared about how simulation centers are currently handling education options during this current time of "stay at home" orders in many of our cities. But what about planning for when we all get back to some sense of our normal operations.
What ideas do other simulation directors and faculty have for when hands-on training starts back up?
- Do you have a date yet when you will start group simulation sessions again? (Tulane's plan is GME in June and UME starts June 29)
- Are there any special accomodations you plan to make to distance learners during sessions? This will likely be a need till there is a vaccine.
- Are you offering any extra PPE during sessions? If you have it to offer.
- Are you limiting sessions to smaller numbers?
- Additional cleaning and disinfecting plans?
- Any new training sessions you'll be running?
- Any training sessions you will stop running?
