With more than half of all U.S. adults now fully vaccinated against COVID-19, many Americans are starting to see life creep back toward a pre-pandemic normalcy with one big caveat: the variants. Scientists have been warning the public that, as long as COVID-19 continues to spread globally, it's possible that a vaccine-evading variant could develop.
