Hello All,
I am wondering if anyone has moved your medical school yearbooks online. We are working on a process with our Health Sciences Library to build a platform that allows each student to build their own profile and upload pictures throughout medical school. Each class year would be a private group and housed on our Health Sciences Library servers along with our past scanned, and digitized yearbooks in a catalog named "Medicine Man." Yes, the name might need a refresh. This differs from using a vendor platform where there is a window of time and print costs associated.
Looking to hear from anyone else who is working towards this model? I see multiple benefits in cost, accessibility, data for engagement, and future philanthropic efforts. I'd welcome your thoughts, ideas, and comments.
