I am reading so many things these days so not sure where I first saw this question posed, but I thought I would pose again here and apologize if already discussed:
For schools who are planning to modify their clerkships as a result of limiting direct patient contact for a period of time, do you plan to make any notations on the MSPE to indicate clerkships differently if they were completed during the COVID-19 timeframe? For example, if the ability to take shelf exams or receive enough evaluations were impacted, potentially affecting the ability to honor in a course, will you document as such? I thought I also saw somewhere a school considering adding a transcript notation for courses taken during these months too?
I recognize this is an issue impacting all of us and that residency programs may understand, but am also wondering if a consensus has been found on approaching this, if at all.
