Hi Lisa!
I am not sure if this is the type of thing that you were hoping to find here, but I wanted to share the experience during our virtual Match ceremony last week at UC Irvine.
Like other schools, we had to make some difficult decisions about Match day activities to promote social distancing and keep students/families safe. I know it was not the Match day our students had imagined, but because of their flexibility/understanding, the vision of school leadership (especially our amazing Associate Dean for Students who you will see in the video below) and technology team, we had the most memorable celebration during an unprecedented time. Below is a highlight of the event:
https://youtu.be/SgjS0ns55pAI hope this video brings even a spark of brightness to this community who continues to make the difficult decisions, often by the hour, so that these students' futures remain bright.
Thank you all and be well!

Subject: Question of the Week (March 23-27): What inspires you?
Good afternoon! A wonderful educator colleague (Shari Whicker, EdD) recently reminded me of this quote:
The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.
-Coretta Scott King
Please consider sharing with our community a compassionate action that inspires you.
Thank you for all you continue to do to support our learners and our broader healthcare communities during these difficult times! Stay well.
Lisa
