My family loves to make holiday "candy" - which basically means chocolate-covered pretzels, peanut butter-dipped sandwiches, Divinity (if you don't know what this is and want to try it out,
here's a recipe), haystacks, etc. It's really fun to work together to make all these treats and then (in a typical year) we bag up some for friends & neighbors and distribute! Sadly we didn't do this tradition this year, but here's a photo from 2019 when we last did!
If anyone wants recipes or tips for the other sweets I mentioned, let me know - happy to send.

Subject: Question of the Week: What's your favorite holiday tradition?
Every year, on the Friday after Thanksgiving, my family bakes several types of holiday cookies to kick off the season of eating. This "Cookie Friday" tradition goes back at least as far as my grandmother's childhood. My daughter recently wrote about Cookie Friday for a school assignment so I think it's becoming as special to her as it is to me.
What's your favorite holiday tradition? Send us a photo if you have one!
