Academic Medicine Open Forum

On September 30-Oct 1^st we are hosting the 7th annual Stanford 25 Bedside Medicine Symposium.  The symposium is an opportunity for medical educators and clinicians to come together to improve their clinical skills and their ability to teach those skills to others.  The symposium includes workshops on learning/teaching physical examination maneuvers, teaching at the bedside, and performing point-of-care ultrasound studies to name a few of the highlights. It also includes a new curriculum on teaching and practicing anti-racism in clinical and bedside teaching settings. 

We are very proud to have received a generous donation to support trainees to attend the symposium from the two Foundations. We believe the symposium is perfect for chief residents, residents who are interested in medical education as a career, or those who are planning to do a chief resident year in the future.  If you and/or your Chief Residents would like subsidization for the registration fees, please email me sonoot@stanford.edu

The Society of Bedside Medicine partners with us to host a poster session and convenes their annual meeting on September 30^th as well. This is an opportunity to connect, engage with and learn from global leaders.
