That's why I'm excited to share that the AAMC's CMO Leadership Academy is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 cohort. Over 15 months, this program brings together new and aspiring CMOs to learn from one another, build trusted networks, and strengthen the skills needed to lead in today's rapidly evolving health care environment. The topics range from quality and patient safety, finance for a CMO, accreditation and bylaws and crisis communications and many more. We cover what a new or up and coming academic CMO needs to know in order to successful in their role.
