STUDENT WORKSHOPS and RECRUITMENT FAIR INFORMATION:
Registration is open for the AAMC Pathways: Premed Student Workshop and Recruitment Fair! It will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm EST at Hilton San Francisco Union Square hotel in San Francisco, CA and is held in conjunction with the AAMC 2024 GSA-CiM-OSR National Meeting.
This fair will give students, parents, advisors, and other interested individuals the opportunity to engage with representatives from U.S. medical schools, current medical students, and admissions leaders. Attendees can engage with representatives to learn more about medical school preparation, admissions requirements, and the Medical College Admission Test® (MCAT®).
WHO: This recruitment fair is open to all college and high school students, parents, pre-health advisors, and school administrators.

WORKSHOP SPEAKERS:
This year's event features keynote speakers Dr. Donna H. Jackson, EdD, Senior Associate Dean for Admissions and Student Outreach from VCU School of Medicine who will speak to the audience from the perspective of an academic leader in medical admissions on the application process and preparing a strong application for medical school and Dr. O'Rese Knight, MD, Ophthalmologist from UCSF Health who will speak to the audience from the perspective of a physician who has served roles in academia, experienced the process as a medical student, and will offer insight, lessons learned and inspiration to the learners, especially a key message, to stay the course.
