Hello David:
I am glad to see that AAMC remains steadfast in its support for DEI in medical school curricula. Interestingly, some states are moving towards mandated continuing education training for physicians, to be enforced by the Boards of Medicine. It's a developing model and one that has not yet been implemented in my state, but it seems to be on the way. I believe it has the potential to mitigate some of the health inequities faced by diverse populations, if state legislators get on board.
Thanks for your post!
Jamela
