The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) is considering two cases in which plaintiffs are asking that the race of applicants be shielded from decision-makers in college admissions (SFFA v Harvard, SFFA v UNC). The decisions are expected by the end of June 2023.
In preparation, the AAMC invites you to join our legal counsel on Tuesday, March 7 from 2- 3 p.m. ET as they lay out the background of the case, introduce potential outcomes, outline considerations for contingency planning, and review critical questions to ask on decision day.
This overview is intended for the academic medicine community. This webinar is a part of a series of webinars and resources that the AAMC will provide leading up to and following the Supreme Court decisions.
