We're moving further and further into the age of technology and the normalization of AI assessments in varying aspects of healthcare. But, how do we teach AI about equitable access to care, patient-centered care, and the need to provide holistic care to vulnerable populations if those things are not already inherent in the institutions, epistemologies, culture, or general practices of medicine? AND, if we are not teaching it those things then what are we teaching it?
