    Nearly one year ago, the AAMC and Thalamus formed a collaboration with the goal of improving the transition to residency. What a year it's been! @Patrick Fritzsenior director of AAMC admissions and selection application services, and Jason Reminick, MD, CEO and founder of Thalamus, joined the Beyond the White Coat podcast to look back at how the medical education community propelled their connection, how they are using technology to improve the recruitment process for programs, and how they are passionate about helping physicians begin careers that are personally and professionally rewarding.

    There have been some changes in the residency process. I have been working in medical education for many years at Mizzou Med. The biggest change in the residency process has to be with OB/GYNs pulling their applications out of ERAS and going to ResidencyCAS for the 24-25 application cycle. I wonder how many programs will pull out of ERAS in the upcoming years.
