Wondering what your school's attendance policies are for fourth year students, and specifically as it relates to time off for residency interviews.
- Does your curriculum have dedicated time off for students to attend residency interviews?
- Do you limit number of days off students can take off for interviews on core rotations (SubI, AI, ICU, etc) vs electives?
- What are the consequences of your policies? What tends to happen when students do ask for more time off to interview? As the interview season start/end seems to be expanding, are you feeling additional pressure from students to be allowed more time off?
Thank you in advance for your thoughts!
