Call for Case Studies: Accommodation & Implementation in Medical Education
I am thrilled to announce that I will be guest editing the October 2025 supplement of Academic Medicine focused on creating disability-inclusive environments in medical education! 🎉
We are inviting submissions of case studies that highlight successful and innovative implementations of reasonable accommodations in medical training. These case studies will serve as a proof of concept, offering practical insights and lessons learned to help guide clinical educators and leaders in fostering more inclusive spaces for all learners.
🔎 Submission Guidelines:
📄 Up to 2,000 words, with sections covering Background, Approach, Outcomes, Lessons Learned, and Next Steps.
🖼️ Up to 3 exhibits allowed.
📅 Important Dates:
Dec 15, 2024: First drafts due
Jan 15, 2025: Review decisions about whether cases move forward to the editorial committee
