    Posted 09-02-2025 07:52:00 PM

    Hello!

I am excited to share an opportunity for health equity experts to support United Against Inequities in Disease, the oldest national 501(c)3 nonprofit focused on empowering emerging leaders to advance health equity in the country (uaid.org).

The organization is seeking mentors with experience in academic research and/or health equity practice to provide valuable guidance to students who embark on projects to eliminate health inequities in their own local communities and share their work via research posters, papers, and presentations.  The time commitment requested for this unique, rewarding mentorship opportunity is only 25 hours/year!

Please find more information about the UAID Health Equity Research Mentor and UAID Health Equity Practice Mentor roles here: uaid.org/mentor-interest-form.

Submissions, which should not take longer than 5-10 minutes to complete, are due by September 15th.  Please feel free to share with your networks!

    Thank you,

    Sonia

Have you considered reaching out to the Social Mission Alliance?  They have a mailing list.  https://socialmission.org/about/

    Good luck,

    Carolyn
