In a recent conversation among CFAS Administrative Board members and AAMC President and CEO David Skorton, the topic of travel restrictions came up. Some members of the CFAS Ad Board, along with other faculty in CFAS, have expressed concern that their schools have enacted restrictions on travel along with funding limits and even funding freezes. Generally, there is concern that faculty will have more challenges related to meeting and conference travel in the current financial climate. Has your institution initiated travel restrictions? If so, what are they?
