I've long been fascinated by the concept of free speech, especially as it relates to academic medicine. Who decides what is discussed on campuses? How do our culture wars impact the information shared between patient and physician? What can we do about medical misinformation? Today, I joined free speech scholars Amna Khalid, Jacob Mchangama, and Michael Roth onstage to discuss how we got here and what medical schools can do to uphold free speech and truth.
