    An interdisciplinary team centered at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is exploring the impact of today's political climate on researchers who are either a) currently employed by an academic medical institution or b) seeking employment by an academic medical institution.

     

    We are primarily interested in characterizing and quantifying perspectives on careers in academic medicine in our current sociopolitical environment, including perspectives on job security, confidence in a future in academic medicine, and potential pivots people are making in their careers. Through this research, we are interested in exploring potential differences in these current experiences. 

      

    We are asking people meet the eligibility criteria and are primarily based in the US if they could take ~15 minutes to complete this anonymous survey, and share with their colleagues:

And, we encourage others to help model the same behavior - if you are in need of willing participation, please go to this community to get notifications to help your peers and participate yourself or share at your institutions. Or, if you need to drop your own work here some day - that's the community to do it in~!
