  • 1.  Inviting you to AAMC Listens at Learn Serve Lead

    Posted 10-20-2023 09:59:00 AM

Hello members of the virtual community. I'm Susan Cato, Chief Communications and Marketing Officer at the AAMC. It's hard to believe that Learn Serve Lead 2023: The AAMC Annual Meeting is just around the corner. For those of you who plan to attend, I am excited to invite you to participate in a unique and transformative experience during the event.

Introducing AAMC Listens, an initiative designed to provide a platform for dialogue between AAMC leadership and you. We believe that your insights, concerns, and passions are essential in shaping the future of our association, and this event is a chance for you to have your voice heard.

What is AAMC Listens? AAMC Listens seeks to create a transformative experience in the pavilion during Learn Serve Lead where attendees can engage directly with members of our Leadership Team. We are going to do this over the course of the three days and in three ways: on the record (recorded conversations), off the record (unrecorded dialogue conversations), and off the wall (written testimonials).

    Why participate?

    • Shape the future: Your input matters. Your ideas and concerns can help steer our organization's direction.
    • Connect with leadership: Meet our Leadership Team face-to-face and build relationships.
    • Network: Connect with peers who share your passion for our mission.

How to participate: Participating in AAMC Listens is easy. Simply reply to @Laura Zelaya with your availability for a 20 minute session.. Our team will be on hand to facilitate discussions and ensure your voice is heard. If you can’t commit right away, we also welcome walk-ins. Make sure to make your way:

    Saturday, Nov. 4 | 4:30-7 p.m. PT

    Sunday, Nov. 5 | 10 a.m.-3 p.m. PT

    Monday, Nov. 6 | 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. PT

Your perspective is invaluable to us, and we want to ensure that we are listening to your concerns and ideas. We look forward to seeing you at AAMC Listens and working together to create a healthier future for all.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication. I hope to have the pleasure of meeting you at LSL!
