Is your health system interested in implementing eConsults or optimizing an existing eConsult program? Since 2014, over 55 adult and pediatric hospitals and health systems have participated in AAMC's Project CORE to implement eConsults and enhanced referral processes with the goals of enabling timelier specialty access, improving communication and coordination between primary care and specialty care providers, and increasing value for patients and the health system. Through one-to-one consultation, resources and benchmarking, advocacy, and peer-to-peer networking, the AAMC's Project CORE supports organizations in establishing a scalable, sustainable program. The CORE program is open to health systems interested in either implementing the CORE model or optimizing an existing eConsult program. More details on Project CORE can be found on the AAMC website.
