Today at Learn Serve Lead, an outstanding panel of student, clinical, and medical school leaders called on the academic medicine community to take action against climate change, the greatest public health threat of the 21st century. Read about it here: Reducing academic medicine's carbon footprint | AAMC

We hope you'll heed that call and join the Climate Action and Sustainability in Academic Medicine Community, designed for anyone at academic health systems and medical schools who have a professional or educational interest in sustainability and climate action across missions (clinical care, research, education, community engagement, and operations and facilities).

No other community can provide a more meaningful connection to the myriad people in academic medical centers working across mission areas to address the climate crisis and improve institutional resiliency.

We've planned events and organized resources to support this critical work. Participants will be able to connect with others in academic medicine who are passionate about sustainability; ask and answer questions; share resources, tips, and know-how; and discuss new and proven strategies in the fast-changing world of climate action and sustainability.

    Hope to see you there!
