I want to invite you to join the AAMC’s National Day of Social Media Action on Tuesday, June 13 to commemorate the Academic Medicine: What starts here saves lives sustained awareness campaign.
This virtual day of action will coincide with the AAMC hosting a Capitol Hill reception the same day in Washington, DC, to demonstrate the essential contributions of academic medicine to federal policymakers.
To highlight what is happening in academic medicine across the country—cutting-edge medical education, high-quality patient care, innovative research, and community collaboration—we would like you to engage with us through social media posts using the hashtag #startsinacademicmedicine. Together we will create a groundswell of social media activity and content on June 13, highlighting the innovations that start at your institutions and save lives.
To get you started, below are sample social media posts you are encouraged to customize and share with your social networks on the day of action:
