    AAMCNews is interesting in interviewing graduating medical students who come from rural communities: Why they decided to go to medical school, their experiences during medical school, their choice of specialty, and more. 

    If you have a student who might be interested in sharing their story, please have them fill out this Google Form. We will be reaching out to approximately 8 students to interview.

    Mercer University Medical School's mission is to educate Georgia's rural and underserved students. Thus, every student here is from a rural community. I will volunteer a few, but if you need more, please let me know.

    At the University of Kansas School of Medicine, part of our mission is about preparing students for rural care.  We have a regional campus in a rural area (Salina Kansas) as well, and most of our students on that campus are from rural areas and want to return to them.  Happy to put you in touch with our campus leaders and students there.
