Does anyone have experiences in working with a clinical consultant that they would recommend? Specifically, someone who would be able to review documentation and give a clinical expert opinion if the services performed/documented/billed were medically necessary. We are not looking for someone say whether or not the diagnosis used was medically necessary as per an NCD/LCD, but to give an expert clinical opinion. There are a few specialties that we want to start with but would eventually want to expand to many others. Recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
