Hello everyone! Today we have the pleasure of introducing @Lisa Meeks, a community champion, whose background as a developmental psychologist and psychometrician has been instrumental in her career. With nearly a decade of experience in private practice, she diagnoses disabilities in children and adolescents using a strengths-based approach. As a dedicated researcher, she focuses on the inclusion of disabled trainees in medical education, striving to identify barriers, including policy-related ones, and effective facilitators.
At Learn Serve Lead, Lisa is all set to moderate a panel on "Addressing Ableism in Medical Education" on Monday, the 6th, from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM in SCC Summit 320-322. Moreover, she will support her research lab's trainees presenting research posters at the GSA poster session on Friday, November 3rd, from 3:30 to 5 PM in the Seattle Convention Center (SCC) Summit Flex Hall B, and at the LSL poster session at 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM in the Sheraton Grand Ballroom.
