    -     We know that rural residents have similar rates of primary care visits to urban residents. However, access does not necessarily translate to better health, and rural residents continue to face disproportionately worse health outcomes than urban residents. The AAMC Research and Action Institute's Atul Grover, MD, advocates for examining health data and enacting polices that target social inequities like education opportunities, anti-poverty programs, and expansion of technology access with Marshall School of Medicine.  https://mds.marshall.edu/mjm/vol10/iss1/1/
