    Posted 09-19-2022 11:22:00 AM

Every year, Academic Medicine publishes the proceedings of the annual RIME sessions that take place at Learn Serve Lead (LSL). This year, the RIME papers will be presented throughout LSL in November, but the complete collection of articles is already available to read for free at academicmedicine.org.

Some of the RIME authors are also featured on the Academic Medicine Podcast every year. For the first episode in this year's 3-part series of discussions with RIME authors, guests @Addie McClintock and Joshua Jauregui, MD, and RIME Committee members Andrea Leep, MD, and Paolo Martin, PhD, MS CHPR, MEd, joined me to discuss clinical teachers' behaviors and how they support or harm students' sense of psychological safety in the clinical learning environment.

For the final episode in this series, Heeyoung Han, PhD, and RIME Committee members @Javeed Sukhera, MD, PhD, and Andres Fernandez, MD, MEd, joined me to discuss new research into the different methodologies used in health professions education research and how rigorous, or not, the descriptions of these methodologies are in published studies. Also covered is advice for researchers who want to more creatively and rigorously conduct and write up their work.
