    AAMC hosted the panel A Real Emergency: Working to Increase the Representation of Black Men in Medicine, last month during the 51st Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference in Washington, DC. The session explored the issues at the root of this crisis and systems-based solutions including introducing and revising policies, building a stronger academic infrastructure, and changing the narrative to meet this challenge.     The moderator was Dr. Antonio Bush (AAMC), Dr. Derek Robinson (BlueCross Blue Shield Illinois), Dr. J. Adrian Tyndall (Morehouse School of Medicine), Kylar Wiltz (Howard University College of Medicine) and Dr. Nate Hughes (retired NFL, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School).
