We are thrilled to invite you to the 5th Annual Disability Advocacy Coalition in Medicine (DAC Med) National Virtual Conference on Saturday, October 18, 2025, featuring keynote speaker Dr. Lisa Meeks, Clinical Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and co-founder of the Docs with Disabilities Initiative.
Registration is free of charge and can be completed using this form. This is a virtual conference, and a Zoom link will be provided after the registration form is completed. You can choose to attend the full conference (and we hope you do!) or participate in parts of it.

This year's conference theme is "Reimagining Clinical Excellence: How Disability Makes Medicine Better." The conference will feature engaging speaker sessions, patient panels, research presentations, and more. Stay tuned for more information provided in a detailed program prior to the conference.
DAC Med is a trainee-led group dedicated to mitigating ableism in healthcare through education, support, programming, research, networking, and outreach. Founded at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, DAC Med now operates with both Northwestern and national leadership.
We continue to invite students and faculty to submit abstracts related to disability in healthcare.
