Greetings COF Community:
The House Energy and Commerce Committee recently released a Request for Information (RFI) on data privacy and security, seeking stakeholder input to help shape a federal comprehensive data privacy framework. The RFI covers topics including roles and responsibilities in the digital economy, consumer rights, data security, artificial intelligence, and enforcement. The text of the RFI can be found here.
AAMC will be hosting a discussion on March 24, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM ET to gather feedback on the RFI from the perspective of our members. This conversation will help inform AAMC's response and provide an opportunity for institutions to engage in the broader policy dialogue.
