Julia is studying Family and Human Services and Nonprofit Management at Towson University in Maryland. When I asked Julia why she was excited about joining us in building community here, she responded:

Community holds a special place in everyone's heart. With the recent switch to virtual life, community connections were impacted greatly. In an online world, the AAMC Communities allows people all over to come together virtually to help lead, support, and connect with others. This is vital to not only the participants' lives, but also to the different organizations they belong to. I am very excited to help strengthen the connections within virtual communities and to help bridge the gap between real and virtual life.

​Julia will be working on identifying and speaking with champions within our community, so be on the look out for more communication from her this summer.  Please give her a warm welcome!
