I am honored to serve as an advisor to an amazing organization - United Against Inequities in Disease (UAID), a student run 501(c)3 nonprofit focused on health equity across the U.S. (uaid.org). The are currently seeking virtual mentors with experience in academic research and/or health equity practice to provide guidance to students who embark on projects to eliminate health inequities in their own local communities and share their work via posters, papers, and presentations. The expected total time commitment is ~25 hours/year.
Please find more information about the UAID Health Equity Research Mentor and UAID Health Equity Practice Mentor roles here: uaid.org/mentor-interest-form.
Submissions are due by August 18th. Please feel free to share this opportunity among your networks! Thank you for your consideration.
