I wanted to share a resource I recently built for colleagues who are engaging with AI in medical education, research, and clinical practice.

    MedAI Lexicon
A short web-based glossary that explains common AI terms in plain language, with tailored views for physicians, basic science researchers, and clinical researchers.

Tip: Use the left-side panel to scroll through the full term list. Clicking any term opens a brief explanation in the main section. You can also choose a persona to view content tailored to your role.

Early faculty feedback has been encouraging, and three additional components are now available:

    1. MedAI Fluency Studio (5-minute self-assessment)
    https://datadrivenmed.github.io/MedAI--Lexicon/fluency-studio-v2.html

Generates a personalized AI fluency radar chart and recommends specific MicroModules to view next.

    2. MedAI MicroModules (15 short videos)
    https://datadrivenmed.github.io/MedAI--Lexicon/micromodules.html

Fifteen faculty-friendly videos (3–8 minutes each) covering essential, practical AI concepts to support teaching, research, and clinical decision-making.

    3. MedAI Companion Resources
    Available on the homepage. Includes:
    • Vetting Medical AI Tools guide
    • Medical AI Buyers' Playbook (PDF)
These have been particularly helpful for faculty evaluating AI tools in their departments.

Please feel free to share these resources with faculty, residents, fellows, and staff who may benefit from them.
