Stanford School of Medicine's REACH Lab is holding their 7th Annual Teaching Cannabis (and other drugs) Awareness and Prevention Conference, VIRTUALLY, on April 22nd & 23rd, 2026 from 8am-2:30 pm PT on both days. <u1:p></u1:p>
While the focus of our conference will be on Cannabis, REACH Lab also know that many youth are using more than one substance and the REACH Lab team wants to make sure that some of their workshops addressed those concerns as well.<u1:p></u1:p><u1:p> </u1:p>
This is NOT a promotion for this conference, but a call for workshop proposals, as many in this community serve youth and do great work that could potentially be lifted up and highlighted during this virtual conference, which is for educators, community-based organizations, school administrators, healthcare providers, school resource officers, coordinators, counselors, parents, and anyone else working with youth, to learn about the latest research on youth and their use of cannabis, e-cigarettes, and other drugs, including reasons for use, health effects, and the latest available lessons for teaching cannabis (and other drug) education and prevention to elementary-, middle-, and high school-aged youth.<u1:p></u1:p>

The deadline for the Call for Workshop Proposals is Monday, December 15th at 5pm PST.<u1:p></u1:p>
Please go to the Call for Proposals form to submit your proposals. If you want to submit more than one proposal, please complete a separate form for each. The REACH Lab team will send notifications of their decisions on workshops by Friday, January 9th, 2026.
