I recently read a blog post from a working mom of three kids who suggested: Leaning into your career when becoming a parent—and managing the additional responsibility and eventual success that will result—actually, ironically, makes it easier to juggle a career and parenthood. Her theory is that rising in experience and tenure can lead to more autonomy and flexibility, which makes it easier to strike that balance.
Do you agree with this? Has this been your experience? Do you have advice on how to meet your career aspirations while balancing parenthood?
