CEOs are prioritizing “retaining and engaging” employees for the remainder of 2024, above all other priorities. According to a recent survey from Chief Executive, a media and events company for business leaders, 63 percent of responding CEOs said they will continue prioritizing the retention and engagement of employees over the next several months. This is an increase from the 57 percent who listed this as their top priority last year. Other top priorities included: improving cost structure; gaining market share; achieving target profitability; and recruiting and training employees.
