Last year, CMS finalized the adoption of a new, mandatory Transforming Episode Accountability Model (TEAM) that will begin January 1, 2026. The AAMC will be hosting a discussion on April 23 from 3:00-4:00pm ET for impacted members to learn more about the model and share feedback on the challenges they are facing in preparation for the model's start next year. Your insights will help shape the AAMC's advocacy with the CMS Innovation Center and ensure the voice of academic medicine is heard on the model.

Join the AAMC on April 23 at 3:00pm ET for a discussion on the Transforming Episode Accountability Model (TEAM) established in the FY2025 Inpatient Prospective Payment System annual rulemaking as a new Medicare mandatory episodic payment model starting January 2026. This call will include an overview of finalized TEAM policies, and then will shift to gathering feedback from impacted member institutions on model parameters, outstanding model policy details, and challenges institutions are facing in preparation for the model start next year.
