Does your school specifically have a UME-GME committee to review medical school-residency data and address bridging the gap? If so, what topics does the committee discuss, and can you please share any examples of projects that have been initiated as a result? We are launching a new UME-GME committee at our school, and I am hopeful that this will lead to more informed decision-making, opportunities for research, etc. Our first agenda item will be professionalism.
I am interested in learning how other schools have benefited from having such a group.
